Kitchen Cabinet Painting Progress - One Section Complete

Welcome Cottage Friends,

My staycation is nearly over, and I wanted to share the progress I made on my kitchen cabinet painting project. Now don't go thinking I spent all my time working. I certainly did not! I played a lot and rested even more. However, I was so close to having one section of my cabinetry finished (all I had to do was distress and wax the doors and drawers before reinstalling them), that I wanted to go ahead and complete it. I'm so glad I did, because I love the way this part of my kitchen looks now.

Just in case you missed it, this is how it looked when I was moving in.

And now. . .

Here's a close up of the drawer pulls I installed.

The other portion of my kitchen that I previously completed is the cabinet over the range. You can read more about that here.

There's still a fair amount of cabinet painting to do in the kitchen, and an abundance of decor tweaking, but I'm getting there, friends. I'm getting there.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Hugs,

  7. Beautiful job! What kind of counter is that? It's really nice. Sorry for the comment as name, it's my son's lego account name and I don't know how to change it! God bless your lovely kitchen.

  9. It looks fantastic. We are in the motions of a kitchen remodel. It will take a lot of time, but the satisfaction is we are doing it ourselves and with cash.

    1. Thanks Sherry. I know you appreciate how much effort it takes to make somebody else's home your own, as you're going through the same thing. That's how it is when we purchase a "before lived in" home. However, it also brings great satisfaction as we make progress. xo
