New French Farmhouse Dining Chair Pads

I've been on the lookout for dining chair pads for my perfectly imperfect dining room chairs, and after two months of searching for the perfect chair pads I think I can say I found them. I wanted chair pads on the feminine side, in a neutral color, budget-minded, and they had to say "French Farmhouse".

I found these gray and white stripe chair pads online at Piper Classics, after doing a search for "French Farmhouse chair pads" on Pinterest. The fabric is cotton, and the pattern is called "Timeless Ticking". I especially like the width of the ties, which gives the bows a crisp look, just the way I like them.

These chair pads were on sale, plus I used free shipping and 10% off coupons, which made them very affordable.

I thought about making my own chair pads, but I doubt I would have saved enough money to make it worth my time and effort. Especially when I consider those charming ruffles.

Have a great weekend!

Hugs,

  2. These are beautiful, Nancy! I agree, making them would be time consuming and possibly expensive, since everything has gone up so much. Piper Classics has lovely things. Great choice and happy weekend! ox

    1. Thank you, Kim. The more I thought about sewing chair pads, the less I wanted to do it. I like sewing projects that are relatively quick to do, and I knew this wouldn't be one of those! I'm glad I decided to buy this time. Happy Sunday! xo

    1. Thanks, Betsy. I often hesitate to buy online because I can't see the product up close and personal to make sure I like it, and then if I buy it and don't like it, I have to go through the return process. This time I took the chance, and I'm glad I did. xo

  5. Sometimes it is just as fun to relax and let the fingers do the shopping. The pads look like are going to fit in with your style quite nicely. Simple but pleasant and comfy. Lynn and Precious xx

    1. Thanks, Donna. It normally takes a lot of hedging before I pull out my wallet, and this purchase was no different. However, after receiving the chair pads and putting them on my chairs, I knew I had done the "smart" thing. Things are going well here. Hope the same can be said for you. xo

    1. I'm partial to ticking, too, Marilyn. It's funny, because even as a little girl I liked ticking. Hope you're having a good weekend. xo

  9. I like the ties on your chairs, too, because they don't look like they are there just to tie the chair pad, but rather to make them beautiful with the wider bows. They also look very comfortable!
