Welcome Cottage Friends,
Following a suggestion from Lorraine of Flower Lady Musings, I've made another video for you this morning. Today I want to share some thoughts on forgiving others. I pray it will be an encouragement and a blessing to you. The video is about four minutes long. (I'm trying to get better at holding my iphone camera still, but there is a bit of wiggling toward the end. I apologize for that and ask for your patience with me, as I'm still experimenting.)
If you like these videos (I guess they're called vlogs) and would like to see more of them, please let me know in the comments. I'd appreciate your perspective. Also, if you have any constructive suggestions, I'm open to hearing them. Thanks!
Hugs,
Yes, this is great to hear your words!
ReplyDeleteGreat topic and verses.
Thank you Nancy for this post on being forgiving.
ReplyDeleteNancy, my long, lost friend....so glad we've been able to reconnect! I loved the vlog. I hope, as time permits, that you continue doing them. I've so enjoyed your Monday Morning Encouragements. They start my day on such a good note. I also love your DIY's. I'm just not super good at creating them, but seeing what you have created makes me want to try! Love you my friend! Karen
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks so much, Karen. I've enjoyed catching up with you, too. As for DIY's, I know you are more than capable of creating whatever you have in mind. Hugs.
DeleteYour voice is so soothing. Thank you for sharing your readings and great advice with us.

What a lovely vlog. Forgiveness is not always easy, but it’s always the best thing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the video, dear Nancy. I've listened to it with my morning coffee and it was a perfect start to the day. I usually have a more energetic beginning but I had the second covid vaccination a few days ago and it completely floored me, still recovering. Hope you've had yours by now.

Nancy, I needed to hear your voice and your message tonight. I have been trying desperately to forgive someone who has hurt me to the core repeatedly over the last 20+ years. It involves family and I have recently just had to walk away. I pray for peace in my heart since they feel quite justified in their actions, but it has been difficult.
ReplyDeleteI will listen to your words and the scripture many times again.
Thank you sweet friend. Renee
I believe I forget to forgive those irritations that come with life of all kinds.
ReplyDeleteWe need to be constantly reminded that God forgives us of all sins if we
repent, so we must also forgive. Thank you for the reminder and a lovely
one at that. Lynn
looking forward to viewing this "vlog" a bit later today when the countertop installers & plumbers leave our home. it's a bit *noisy*. ;) and .. your offering of this forgiveness vlog is timely as the Lord has put it on my heart to forgive a particular person. thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove your vlogs, Nancy! Keep them coming, your message and your voice are so calming. Ps- I have that same ribbed white pitcher!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for these words, Nancy
ReplyDeleteMy girl! I agree with what someone else said, your voice is so soothing so let’s keep this going!
ReplyDeleteI can’t get over the faithfulness of God in reminding me this morning to listen to your vlog from last week. I woke up wrestling with my often strained relationship with a family member and the reality that it still needs work in my heart, so I cried out to God and there this was 😱🙏🏻!
EXACTLY what I needed to hear, and from my precious friend/mentors voice no less 🥰!
I’m on my face in gratitude to my Father!
Praise God for His faithfulness. His word never returns void! It will accomplish His purpose. I'll be praying that He will complete the work in your heart that is needed to fully forgive this family member. Love you.
