For as long as I can remember I've loved cottages. These cozy places, with abundant flowers and sunshine, give me a sense of peace and contentment. .

Merry Christmas Nancy-
ReplyDeleteYou have been on my mind and I am happy to see this Christmas post. I hope you are loving Texas and you must be so thankful to spend this holiday in a warm climate and not be hurried in the snow. I miss your posts and am happy to hear you will be posting in 2019. I decorated my cottage for Christmas and hopefully will post later in the day with some pictures of my little bedroom dressed for Christmas. Come on over and visit, on my blog= and an open invitation to my home. However, if you come visit my home you may fall in love with these Appalachian mountains and have to relocate once again. LOL. Many Blessings.
Merry Christmas! I'll be looking!❤️

ReplyDeleteDear Nancy, after many problems with my computer, this last week with them hopefully being fixed, I am trying to get in touch with every one who has been so kind to comment lately. And one of them is you, my long lost friend now in Texas! How are you, dear Nancy? I went back and read your post about working at the library, are you still enjoying that? Surrounded by books, I think you must be. And when you wrote about reading and being around people I again dove back into the ever consuming question of time spent in that world or time spent at the computer and whether a balance of both is what I want or not. I know that you've been through that process too in the past and I hope that you, like others who aren't present daily in the world of blogs anymore, are contented and pleased with the road you've taken now. I find that very quesion a constant thing I search for answers about. There are so many wonderful things about blogging and especially about blog friends that it isn't a question of turning away from something horrible, just choosing the better thing over a good thing. I may never come up with a definitive answer on that!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, know that you are missed and by so very many, I'm sure. And an occasional visit from you is a thing of joy.
Best to you and your own artist,
Dewena
