The #1 Picker

I've been picking since I was 14 years old. Yard sales, junk shops, thrift stores, curbsides. You name it, I've probably picked there. I used to think this made me the #1 Picker in our house, until my husband went for a drive a few weeks ago, and came back home about 45 minutes later with  our Suburban crammed full of used furniture he had purchased at a local yard sale.

We began unloading, I started squealing with delight, neighbors looked out their windows with frightened faces. It was great.

So all this stuff is now in our apartment, and I've been methodically applying my painting and refinishing skills to make each piece a part of our home. Next week I'll show you what I did with that black waterfall nightstand/table.

Oh, by the way, I've happily relinquished my #1 Picker title to my hubby. He picked all this up for $100. Not bad, right? (Being #2 has never felt so good.)

Have a great weekend.
I'll be joining Friendship Friday at Create with Joy

    1. I like that piece, too, Jeanette Ann. Actually, it looks like a table you'd have in your home. :)

    1. Oh, that's the down side of technology, isn't it Lynne? Hope you're having a great weekend, and thanks for taking the time to stop by.
