"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands," Revelation 7:9
This past week I watched a video of worship and prayer for Israel in Amsterdam Square. It was filmed live, no editing, just an amazing gathering of Christians from all over the world who had joined together to praise God and remember Israel.
There were people from the Netherlands, people from Africa, people from Asia, and America, and so many other places. At one point the pastor leading worship asked various people to say, "God loves you," in their native language. Honestly, it brought tears to my eyes. There in Amsterdam Square was beautiful harmony. No racial tension, no ethnic slurs. No hatred. Only love. And I couldn't help but think of how this was just a tiny taste of what it will be like in Heaven. When we all come together -- from all tribes, and peoples, and languages -- and stand before the throne of Jesus to worship and adore Him.
We hear calls for peace in the world. In truth, there will never be lasting peace until Jesus the Prince of Peace returns and establishes His kingdom on earth. "The government will be upon His shoulders" (Isaiah 9:6) and He will rule justly. Only then will be have the perfect peace for which we long.
Today's music video May the Peace of God, words and music by Keith Getty & Stuart Townend, sung by Kristyn Getty, is a call to worship the King of Kings. I pray it will encourage your heart during these difficult days.
Keep Israel in your prayers!
I love you, I'm thinking of you, and I'm praying for you.
It must have been very impressive to see! Jesus, our Prince of Peace, brings peace to the earth. Blessings to you♥️
ReplyDeleteThank you and peace to you through Jesus Christ our Lord.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been beautiful to see, and beautiful to imagine that heaven will be like that. I'm daily praying, many times daily, for family members and friends who are yet saved so that they will experience this blessing from God for all eternity.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gathering in Amsterdam! Totally agree about no peace on earth until Jesus comes! Blessings.

ReplyDeleteHere is another phrase for you:
Blessed is He who comes in the name of YHVH
Baruch haba b'shem YHVH
ברוך הבא בשם יהוה
‘’For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in
the name of the Lord.’’ (Matthew 23:39, ESV)
Oh I'm definitely praying for Israel. I see the signs and prophecies in the Bible being fulfilled and wonder from day to day what will happen? It breaks my heart to see the world turning against Israel, even the US. But again, that is prophecied. Awful and yet fascinating times we're living in and through. May the Lord be with each one of us, especially Israel.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
I wish the world harmony, if not peace.....that beautiful gathering sounds wonderful and inspiring.
