For me, nothing's better than a fast, easy and inexpensive craft project. These shabby chic heart bowl fillers check all the right boxes. All you need to make these is some leftover fabric or drop cloth, scissors, a glue gun and (if you like) stencils and transfers.
Check out my Youtube video to see more of these hearts up close and personal, and learn how you can make some for yourself.
Although these hearts are not just for Valentine's Day, I'll take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day anyway!
Hugs,
Dear Nancy, I just love your hearts. Hard to pick a favorite as they are all beautiful. Thank you for sharing! Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Yvonne. I'm glad you like the hearts. ♥
DeleteVery cute Nancy! I'll go watch your video too. I love little puffy hearts of any kind.. and I do make some larger ones that can hang from a knob, but I want to make some little rustic ones with no sewing! I think felt would be neat to use also. Happy Valentines' Day back to you! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteI like the felt idea, Marilyn. It's always fun to how others, like you, would make this project their own! Hugs.
DeleteI have your lovely red heart hanging on a cabinet knob over my desk, Nancy and it makes me think of you and smile every single day! xo
ReplyDeleteAww, that's so sweet, Kim. Thank you, my friend. Hugs.
DeleteNice !! love it Nancy :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteThey are beautiful Nancy, such a lovely idea :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine Day Nancy! Love the bowl of hearts and I have the perfect fabric that is white background with teeny tiny pink roses buds on it that I will use for this! Lynn and Precious XX
ReplyDeleteLynn, your fabric does sound perfect for this project. I'd love to see the finished product. ♥
