Welcome Cottage Friends,
Several weeks ago I wrote a blog post about how we can experience peace in times of trouble. If you haven't read it, you can find it here
This morning I discovered a song by The Afters entitled I Will Fear No More that speaks so beautifully of the courage we can find in Jesus when we are fearful and anxious; when we worry. I hope you will take some time to listen to it, as I believe it will be an encouragement to you.
I love you, I'm thinking of you, and I'm praying for you.
Hugs,
Thank you for the encouragement!
ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't know that you have lived in Ohio :)
Yes, indeed. I lived in Columbus, OH with my late husband for 14 years. Three years after God took him home I moved to Colorado after remarrying, and the rest is history. I loved Ohio and have so many wonderful memories of life there with Jim. We often spent long weekends and week long vacations in Hocking Hills. Have you visited there yet? So much natural beauty, and only about an hour from Columbus. If it weren't for the fact that my family is in Colorado, I would seriously consider moving back there. I still have great friends there that I talk to frequently.
DeleteThank you Nancy for uplifting so many of us. With winter and covid, sometimes
ReplyDeletethe way of life can be very dragging. I live in Ohio, and for now I wish I were somewhere
warm, lol. but Ohio is a beautiful place to live in good weather. I am glad you stay as
upbeat as possible and share. Lynn
Thank you.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Nancy. Happy Monday. Have a wonderful week. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the music. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo thankful for our hope in Jesus indeed, dear friend. It is troubling and worrisome to see the state of affairs in our country, but I know that our Lord is in control over it all, and He is also a God of justice. Thankful for our hope in Jesus! Many blessings to you :)
