God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home
To the oceans white with foam
God bless America, my home sweet home
God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the light from above
Amen!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Nancy! Yes, I find myself praying more and more for this country and all who are involved in keeping all of us citizens safe, healthy and moving forward! Be well dear Nancy!
ReplyDeleteI dearly love this song, it never fails to fill me with gratitude for being able to live in this great country. As much as I love our national anthem, God Bless America more clearly speaks to what I love about this land. Thank you for posting the words here and Happy Fourth weekend!
ReplyDeleteHope your 4th was good Nancy. Big Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed a July 4th celebration Nancy x
ReplyDeleteI love that song. Always brings tears to my eyes when I sing it. Thank you for posting it to remind us how privileged we are to have this freedom that we so take for granted! Even with all that is going on in the world, there are way more "patriots" here in the US than we are made to think there are. I know many many many feel the same way you/we do.. they appreciate all who have and who do fight to keep our country safe and free. xoxo Marilyn
ReplyDeleteNow I will sing this wonderful song all evening in my head. Thank you, truly!
ReplyDeleteAnd Happy Independence Day and weekend to you!
Amen! And a big hearty approval to all that your post expresses.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, sweet friend. My heart has been SO heavy over the sad things that are happening in the pursuit of trying to rewrite our history and desecrate our heritage. I pray so often, too, with a very burdened heart. May God have mercy on our dear country, in Jesus' name.
ReplyDeleteLike you dear Nancy, we hung out our much-loved flag and prayed that God will bless America!
ReplyDeleteThese are such difficult and often very sad days, both here and round the world.
Happy 4th of July my friend. I went to the largest unmasked, happy, fun party, BBQ and fireworks show I have ever been to in my life. We the people know the truth and want America back. We all celebrated America and our freedoms which are heavily under attack these days. America needs LOTS of prayer. WE need to turn from our wicked and evil ways and turn back to God. Repentance which invites healing of our land and healing of our hearts. That will usher in work of the Holy Spirit and invite revival which is desperately needed in America and around the world. Blessings to you Nancy.

ReplyDeleteI am praying with you Nancy and agree with what you say. I too feel deep gratitude.
ReplyDeleteHope you are adjusting to your new life. I like this song and it should be our national anthem. Have a great week and wear your mask.
ReplyDeleteAnd I too am a patriot. I lived in another country---I know the difference.
ReplyDeleteA Flag should be the first thing hung on a new home!
ReplyDeleteJust like you did!
I hope you had a lovely 4th of July, dear Nancy. I'm shamefully behind with my blog reading and finally arrived to see how you are, I hope well and safe and enjoying your new home.
