Thirty-fifth post in the series
"Living Large in Small Spaces"
Let's cross the little bridge and tour this gem, shall we?
We enter into a bright and cheerful eat-in kitchen.
Arched windows add character and bring lots of light into the room.
Neutral paint on the walls and white cabinetry keep the space light and bright.
The living room boasts an artist designed concrete, glass and shell gas fireplace.
Sliding doors lead to the deck.
Window treatment is minimal and simple. Who wants to cover up those gorgeous views?
Organic wool carpet covers the hallway and bedroom floors. I love the built-in shelves.
There are two en-suite bedrooms.
The floating cottage is hooked up to city sewer and water. Very convenient.
The deck affords lovely views of the bay and Mt. Tam.
Could you live full-time in a place like this?

I received no compensation for sharing this home with you. I just think it's a sweet spot.
Welcome Cottage Friends to another edition of Living Large In Small Spaces.
Have you ever wanted to live in a houseboat?
I have. In fact, it's a fantasy of mine.
A sweet little floating cottage like this one would suit me just fine.

When I came across this charming houseboat I just had to share it with you. Located in Sausalito, California, this 1,056 sf charmer is currently for sale, listed by Michele Affronte of Bradley Real Estate. It's completely out of my price range. . .but this is my fantasy, remember? Price doesn't matter in Fantasyland.
