A Thank You to Jo
Thursday, April 16, 2015
Yesterday Dennis walked to the post office and brought back a package for me. Inside the box I found something wrapped in a very charming way.
When I unwrapped the very charming package I found something even more charming.
My blogging friend Jo of Anne's Attic Design sent this fabulous pillow to me.
I just have to show you all the wonderful embellishments.
At the top. . .
At the bottom. . .
And in the middle the satin pocket holds a lovely embroidered napkin.
The fabric on the back of the pillow reminds me of a whimsical cottage garden. Which, by the way, I hope to be planting soon around our cottage.
This lovely gift was handmade by Jo.
Thank you so much, Jo, for gifting me with this very special pillow. I love it and can't wait to use it in our new home.
If you don't know Jo, you're missing out. She's a wonderful person. Here's a link to her beautiful blog:

Good morning, Nancy! Isn't it always such a delight to exchange such lovely thoughts and gifts? Blogging opened up so many things in my own life, and one of them was friends who have sent me a gift or a card, or people I have sent things to. This sweet pillow is surely a tender expression of a lovely lady. I have a large drawer full of cards and little goodies that I will always treasure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day and how is the cottage coming along? Anita

ReplyDeleteWow. Gorgeous gift. Jo is a very talented seamstress.
ReplyDeleteIt's very beautiful Nancy. I am aware of Jo but haven't quite yet figured out how to comment on Wordpress blogs as I do all of my blogging on my phone. As soon as I can get it figured out I will be over there. I am looking forwards to seeing where you will put this very special pillow in your new home.
