Thank you to all of you who wrote such nice things
about me and my Saturday Spotlight feature

You make me feel all
warm

fuzzy
I'm so busy right now
with the
cottage construction
and all the decisions involved.
I promise I'll post an update in the
next day or two.
I have so much to share with you. . .
construction progress, the floor plan and finishes.
But for now, I'm showing you
this sweetness. . .

Joy List Monday was prompted by Anne of My Giant Strawberry. I love her idea of "taking a few moments to jot down bits of beauty that I've noticed or any little details in my day that are bringing me joy."
Such sweet photos!! Thanks for sharing. XOXO
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I have ever seen a baby animal that wasn't adorable. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteBabies animals are literally make me weep with joy!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's a wonderful reason to shed tears, Sue! The best kind!
DeleteIs there anything cuter than a baby of any kind? They are just darling. I can't wait to see more of your whole process there. It is really exciting..and always a bit scary, too.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good night- xo Diana
Nancy,
ReplyDeleteTake your time and post when you have time. I certainly welcome your updates and I have patience. Your building of your dream cottage is exciting and I am thankful for you updating us along the way. Baby animals ... Oh my Yes! I am working on my next post and a baby lamb and the emotional bonds of a joyful childhood memory factor in. I was 13 when I saw a cow give birth to her calf on a neighbors farm, I stood in amazement and perhaps a little shock but those awestruck feelings stay with me still. Tears and realization flooded my head as that baby calf left the sack and soon stood and ran around with strength and new life. Baby animals Oh my yes, the love and affection flow.
Thank you Nancy for opening the floodgates of memory and beauty.
xoxo,
Vera

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing yourself with all of us on Spotlight. It was so much fun to feature you and your talented hubby. I cannot wait to see the updates to the cottage. I bet it is looking so great. I am super excited this is finally turning into a home for you. Love the cows and to be able to drive by and see them every day how fun is that. Love their sweet faces.

Your new home looks like it is situated in a beautiful and peaceful place for country walks. You must be so excited!! Wishing you much joy.
ReplyDeleteOh Nancy, the babies and their mama's are so darling, and the babies are so soft and cuddly this time of year. Good luck to you dear with your planning, enjoy the journey. Hugs, Jo
ReplyDeleteWhen we built our home four years ago I couldn't believe how many decisions we had to make, even though the house was 8 years in the planning. Before construction started my husband and I made a vow not to lose sight of the fact we were doing this together, for us. Despite frazzled nerves, constant noise, living out of boxes, eating at restaurants, money flowing out of the bank account.....we made it and love our home. These days will be a blur so takes loads of pictures, to enjoy later in the peace and quiet of your new home.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteSweetness is right!
Wishing you a happy and productive week in building.

I LOVE BABY ANIMALS! And this is the time of year when baby animals are at the garden centers! Everyone comes out to see them and hope for spring. I just adore calves and their mummies - looking forward to seeing the lambs, chicks and BUNNIES! Oh Nancy, I'm curious to see your construction!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day dear Nancy! Anita
I had a very busy weekend as I had to go to work on Saturday and I haven't checked the spotlight yet, I'm off to do so!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to hearing all about it, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteThose shaggy cattle made me laugh. And yes, I love seeing baby animals. One of the joys of spring!
